Services
To assist you in your choice about care, the following is information about the services and programs available through the practice.
The Onkwehón:we Midwife provides Primary Maternal care to Indigenous families in Ontario, within a reasonable range of distance in the community she is practicing in. Midwifery care is available to birthing women, whether they are planning a home, clinic or hospital birth. The Onkwehón:we Midwife is currently able to provide midwifery care at the home of the Client and in our New Clinic. In the event of a Transfer of Care, the Onkwehón:we Midwife will provide labour support, after which, if the client chooses the Onkwehón:we Midwife can provide postpartum care.
All Aboriginal families may participate in any Kontinenhanónhnha Tsi Tkahà:nayen programs including: Prenatal Classes, Breastfeeding Support and Prenatal Exercise Classes.
